Emergencies & Tooth Pain

We understand that tooth pain can be excruciating and unbearable. For this reason, our dentists are available to treat emergency tooth pain and will adjust our schedule to meet our patients’ needs.

If you experience tooth pain, please do not wait until after hours to call our offices. Conditions such as a chipped or cracked tooth, a knocked-out tooth, and traumatic injuries causing tooth pain may require emergency care to save the tooth.

A severe toothache can feel like a dental emergency due to swelling and infection. Tooth abscesses may cause noticeable swelling to the face, bumps or pockets of pus on the gums, or a fever.

Emergencies related to crown or filling can be painful and need immediate care. A crown that comes loose can be placed back with over-the-counter dental adhesive but never with super glue or cement. If in doubt, please contact the dental office for the next dental appointment.

Emergency Dental Visits

Emergency dental visits will include a dental exam with our dentist, a dental x-ray, local anesthesia or sedation, and treatment to address your dental emergency.
