Dentures (full / partial)
Dentures fit over the alveolar bone ridge that once held a patient’s permanent teeth. They restore functionality and appearance, provide stability for a patient’s bite, support the facial skeleton, including the lips and cheeks. The result is a more confident, youthful appearance and self-esteem.
There are several options when choosing dentures, and each with their pros and cons. We recommend a consultation with our dentist to discuss which denture is right for you.
Natural Dentures and Partial Dentures
Natural dentures are a vinyl-based denture solution that is stain-resistant and shaped for better stability. These long-term dentures have a lifelike appearance and, when properly fitted, are comfortable and easy to clean.
Flexible Partial Dentures
Flexible partial dentures are removable and constructed without the use of metal or wires. Partial dentures adjust to the mouth’s unique contour and are accessible for the dentist to modify for fit and comfort. Flexible partial dentures are stain-resistant and do not retain odor.
Implant Secured Dentures
Implant secured dentures combine the natural look and feel of permanent dentures with the security of a tight and secure fit of an implant appliance.
The dentist will determine if you are a candidate for implant secured dentures. If so, the dental staff will take an impression of your mouth and create a secured denture using dental implants. The dentist will implant the dental implant posts under your gums and secure the newly created denture and forever remove the need for denture adhesive and discomfort from misaligned dentures.
